Italian luxury fashion house Marni launched the pop-up Marni Market tour in China and Japan earlier this month.

Taking place in China and Japan, Marni Market showcases Marni’s signature bags, wool cushions, chairs and other home décor items in pop-up stores.

Marni Market pop-up stores welcome shoppers with playful handcrafted items in a space full of color and light inspired by geometric and futuristic contemporary art. Marni Market was launched in Nanjing and Guangzhou in China from May 1 and May 15 respectively and is being held in Tokyo, Japan on May 10 and Osaka on May 18.

New products and special editions of Marni Market baskets will be launched separately in different Marni Markets on different days. Marni Market in Nanjing showcased black and white basket bags, while rainbow basket bags will be launched at Guangzhou Railway Station. In Japan, tote bags made of tatami, a traditional Japanese material, will be the focus of the Japanese Marni market.

Integrating with Marni Market, Marni launched an online campaign for consumers to buy new releases after they were launched on Marni Market. Special offers will be offered to online shoppers.
